About Us

Our parent company is Global Media Network, LLC. A company started in Flint, Michigan. Our mission is to bring ideas to the world through the freedom of creative expression. What does that mean you might ask? Well we call it "Project Development". When we find a product or idea that is in line with our mission we will attach all of our resources to bring that entity to fruition. Services we provide are marketing, promotions, print publishing, motivational speaking, and branding. All of these services combined will lead to a product that is visible, sustainable, and profitable. We have built curriculums that include H.E.L.P Project(Hip-Hop Education Literacy Program). This program has been based in the top ten Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Johnson C. Smith, and local churches. The Literacy R.O.C.K.S Project is inspired by H.E.L.P and is an extension of the core curriculum that includes self-empowerment and life skills.  Another curriculum created by GMN is the parent inspired P.U.S.H program. Parents Understanding Students thru Hip-Hop. This program is designed to give parents tools and information regarding hip-hop culture that can be relevant to their child's education. We are in the process of developing major projects for 2011. Thanks for your support in this endeavor and I hope you get  as much enjoyment from this relationship and experience as we do. Bringing new ideas...

J. J. Lance Ferrell is an aficionado on curriculum development with a specialty on this generation’s hip-hop impressionable youth. His flagship program, the Hip-Hop Education Literacy Program (H.E.L.P Project) which is the newly reformatted Literacy ROCKS! Project, has been on display at Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Johnson C. Smith University, and McClintock Partners in Education. Lance’s company Global Media Network is dedicated to giving back to the community as displayed when they had the first annual Literacy Celebration Day in 2010 in Charlotte, NC which garnered major support from Mayor Anthony Foxx and the city of Charlotte, National Urban League, Big Brother, Big Sister, and many more local organizations. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching K-8, with a concentration in English. The January 2011 edition of Pride Magazine has nominated Lance as one of the Top 10 African-American men under the age of 40 who is a “mover and shaker” in Charlotte, NC. He is working with school districts nationwide to integrate Hip-Hop Literacy into the daily curriculum.
